Program achievements: reduced AP invoice processing time by 70%, reduced approver invoice processing time by 50%, and improved coding accuracy. Automated accounting processes in SAP, saving 11 d/yr. Delivered a priority corporate G&A report. Completed analysis for AP automation at mining site.

Simon Fraser University EMR

Led the planning and deployment of an electronic medical record (EMR) system across SFU’s three campuses, aligning operations processes and roles to improve efficiency and patient care, and ensuring a smooth transition for the team.

Capacity Optimization

Process Redesign Lead & Project Manager for a hospital flow improvement initiative focused on the timely discharge of medically stable patients. The transformation project involved extensive collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams, system-wide changes, integration with other initiatives, and a robust evaluation plan.

Improvements included workflow and tool redesign, role and procedure adjustments, enhanced data collection, and leadership and team training.

Resulted in a substantial reduction in length of stay, with 2-phased pilot and expansion to 40+ units completed within 1 year, followed by a structured sustainment period.

Community Housing Assessment & Planning

Conducted utilization reviews and gap analysis to identify regional service improvements and capacity adjustments. Developed recommendations for funding realignment, ensuring resources were allocated effectively.

Work included impact assessment and an implementation plan, providing a structured approach to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Complex Care Housing

Strategic project management & planning for multiple complex care housing initiatives: community transitional care, ACT team, and enhanced care housing. Included all aspects of operational planning and implementation, with client and partner engagement: model of care, recruitment, access protocols, workflow, tools, procedures, impact assessment, operational budgets, and evaluation framework to measure outcomes and improve service effectiveness.

Decentralize Scheduling

Provided project management, integrated business planning, process adaptation, change support to decentralize a regional scheduling function, ensuring a seamless transition without service interruption.

Absence & Disability Management Redesign

Led process redesign and project management for the transformation of absence and disability management within a large-scale organization. Supported planning and analysis, including benefits mapping, and future state design.

The new vision for disability management required a redesign of services, delivery models, workflow, roles, and structures; technology changes; training program development; evaluation framework; and engagement and change strategies for staff, clients, and contractors.

Expansion & Operations Transformation - Charity Sector

Advisor & coach for a major operational transformation supporting the expansion of services to a national level. Guided structural, functional, and role changes to align with the organization’s growing needs. The transformation involved training system development, staff & volunteer recruitment and training, operations workflow redesign, new procedures, and a CRM refit to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Corrections Health Services

Strategic PM advisor to the Project Director and VP for the assumption of primary care clinic services across 10 provincial Correctional Centres, supporting a seamless transition within 6 months. Established PM structure and processes for rapid planning and implementation, reducing risk for the fixed deadline.

Complex scope: new structures, recruitment and orientation, clinical services planning, legal/privacy, facility readiness, equipment procurement, policy and protocol development, information management, technology integration, risk management, process integration, and operational readiness.

Action Plan - Forensic Psychiatric Hospital

Project management and planning leadership for an 18-month priority action plan, with multiple integrated work streams: leadership development, inter-professional practice, quality, facilities/IMIT, organizational risk management, evaluation, and stakeholder engagement. Facilitated the development of the Model of Care.

Service Model Review & Redesign

Conducted a comprehensive review of residential respite services, including an analysis of population needs, projections, and workflow impacts on capacity. Identified problems and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to enhance service delivery.

The process involved data review, key informant and leadership interviews, workshops, and best practice evaluations. Refreshed the service model, prioritized operational changes, and developed a targeted engagement plan
